Parallel Coordinate Plot

Each variable is graphed on a vertical axis on a parallel coordinate plot. There is a data element plotted as a connected set of points on each axis. They can be used to explore relationships among different variables. The plot above is from a study on the characteristics of primates affected with HIV. The plot shows the weight difference between the healthy and affected primates. The scattered areas of pink show that the healthier primates weighed more than the primates affected with HIV.
