Isoline Maps

Isoline maps are maps with continuous lines joining points of the same value. The contour lines can be curved or straight lines. The configuration of these contours allows map readers to infer relative gradient of a parameter and estimate that parameter at specific area. The map above is a representation of the Arctic free-air gravity.
