Isopleth Maps

Isopleth maps give information about a particular geographic area by connecting contour lines of equal value to show change or differences. The map above is an example of a Isopleth map. The purpose of the map was to illustrate precipitation change in Spain. The level of precipitation increases outside of Montserrat and there is no precipitation in Barcelona.
