Univariate Choropleth
Univariate choropleth maps show a specific set of data. The map above represents the crime propensity of Portland, Oregon in 1992. The map shows that areas that are similar in suitability for the location of a drug trafficking are located in a band surrounding the CBD. The areas that are designated as drug free zones are surrounded by similarly crime groups.
